CoServ offers a renewable energy option that gives residential Members the opportunity to 'Think Green' by enrolling in a Residential Wind Energy Rate.2 CoServ Members have been asking for a renewable option, and we began fulfilling that request in 2009. CoServ purchases electric energy from Texas renewable wind generation resources and we retire Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) in the amount equal to your monthly kilowatt hour usage. In the simplest terms, we're ensuring CoServ's ability to offer you a rate that supports renewable power generation.
