Energy rates
The charged price is the base rate plus its adjustment. Adjustments carry fuel and rider costs and are frequently most of the bill, so a comparison built on the base rate alone is meaningless.
Energy charge
| Tier | Up to | Base | Adjustment | Charged $/kWh |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 300.0 kWh | 0.04088 | 0.36792 | 0.40880 |
| 2 | 900.0 kWh | 0.05115 | 0.04603 | 0.09718 |

| 4 | no limit | 0.10836 | 0.09752 | 0.20588 |
What it costs at different usage levels
| kWh per month | Annual total | Effective $/kWh |
|---|---|---|
| 500 | $1,704.92 | $0.2842 |
| 1000 | $2,342.23 | $0.1952 |
| 2000 | $4,050.41 | $0.1688 |
