The utility's own description
The Residential Service Rate (RS1) is applicable for residential purposes in individual private dwellings and in individually metered apartments, condominiums, and similar residential units, when such service is supplied at one premise through one point of delivery and measured through one meter. Not applicable to resale or standby. This rate may be applicable to three (3) phase service used for domestic purposes only. Three phase service is required for motors of an individual rating capacity of 10 H.P. or more.
